Rigarus Construction prides itself on its 'rigorous' Inspection & Maintenance philosophy. We are determined to provide you with a worksite that is safe and efficient, and have therefore put into practice an Inspection and Maintenance checklist to ensure that your needs are met.
Each Rigarus inspection project includes the following:
- Inspection Reports
The inspection reports will conform to the guidelines noted in Appendix D of CSA Standard S37-01 Antenna Towers and Antenna Supporting Structures.
- Inventory
We will inspect, verify and document all customer-owned materials on site, which may include antenna support structures, antenna azimuth, height verification, serial numbers, manufacturers and suppliers.
- Antenna and cables
We will inspect and document antenna transmission cables, connectors, cable bridges, cable trays, entry ports, weather proofing, line sweeping, grounding and other elements as needed.
- Tower Structure
We will inspect and document tower structure, foundation, alignment, guys and anchors (if applicable), climbing facilities, tower coatings, lighting, lightning protection, and grounding.
- Emergency Inspection
Inspect and document operational and safety concerns in the event of extreme weather conditions.
- Minor Maintenance
During the inspection procedure, minor problems can be repaired.
- Specified Maintenance
This may include major repairs, replacements and alterations to existing structures and equipment.
- Routine Maintenance
Routine maintenance is scheduled at specific intervals.
